Minister Servant Marcella Joanne Haskins, also known as MJ in business, is a professional Financial Consultant & Community Advocate. After graduating from the Prestigious Bennett College for Women , located in Greensboro, NC, MJ returned to her native state of Delaware where she founded and established a Financial Consulting firm in 2011 and named the firm Covenant Financial LLC. 

The name Covenant came from her close relationship with the God of the Bible. The context of the word Covenant regarding the favor and promise that God makes with woman and man whether they are faithful or not. God remains faithful. MJ started the firm when she saw the need for Financial Literacy education amongst her local community and the body of Christ. This remote firm, head quartered in Middletown, Delaware, serves clients nationwide and specializes in Individual & Business Financial Services such as Tax advising, planning and preparation, in addition to Legal Assistance & Estate Planning. She measures the success of her firm by how many homeowners she has created, Last Living Wills & Estate Packages she has prepared, the many financial questions she has answered or assisting her clients out of financial trouble especially with the IRS. 

You can tell by the name Covenant that Minister MJ Haskins’ business is not ordinary, nor does she see it solely as a profit-making operation. Minister MJ Haskins refers to her business as a business-ministry and knows her calling and purpose is mutually inclusive, not exclusive. Time and time again, MJ finds herself assisting clients financially, but in addition to that, she too has provided continued guidance, wise counsel, prayer, and encouragement with most clients she serves. 

The Word of God & Financial Literacy remains her passions. Deuteronomy 8:18 is the theme scripture for this business ministry of hers, “Remember the Lord, thy God, for it is He that gives us the ability to create wealth so He may establish His Covenant.” MJ currently serves at Peoples Baptist Church Full Gospel Ministries of New Castle Delaware under the leadership of Pastor Tyrone Shepeard. She is happily married to Brother Donald Haskins and has one cat son.
